 Faith Formation VOLUNTEER ROLES NEEDED
 TRAFFIC PATROL  Be crossing guards on Main St between middle school and Church  
  • in position outside at 6:35 and again at 7:30   1st and 3rd Wednesdays
 CLASSROOM TEACHERS (catechists) for K-5th grades - Discuss and explain the topic of the day and lead the students in questions and activities Works great for parents of students in that class.  Lesson plan is provided and prior discussion and training of the lesson.
  • meets FIRST Wednesday of the month, mentor 3rd Wednesdays with parents and kids in classroom, 4th Wednesday Catechist meeting for support on next month’s lessons.
CLASSROOM HELPERS for K-5th grades -keep the students quiet, answer side questions while the teacher is teaching, hand out papers, communicate to the hall monitor when sending kids to the restroom and do attendance.  _First and Third Wednesdays of the month and sometimes 4th Wednesday for Catechist Support Meeting
CORE TEAM MEMEBERS for 6-8th grade  -Meet weekly Wednesday evenings at the auditorium and cafeteria in the Holmen Middle School to lead small group discussion and help facilitate activities with CRE Heide Harron
 SUBSTITUTES FOR CLASSROOM LEADS AND HELPERS- First Wednesday night of the month.
 HALL MONITOR –sit in the hallway to make sure students are not loitering or looking in lockers. Sometimes assist in or outside classroom door if only one teacher is available in the classroom.
  • Meet First and 3rd Wednesday of the month 6:15-7:25  Are invited to participate in  large group gathering first Wed for prayer and singing then walk over to HMS with kids and catechists
 CHILD CARE STAFF 2 people (ROOM 129 of HMS)
  • Meets 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesday to care for children of other volunteers in the program  6:10-7:35
 SUBSTITUTES for catechists, helpers, traffic and/or childcare  
 PRAYER TEAM
  • Pray for our program and families from your home or wherever as much as you want.  I will have prayer cards and fill you in on events and how I see your prayers working. I would ask for your feedback on specific nudges and Holy spirit conversations you are hearing in your prayers.
TOTE PREP  Fill classroom totes with monthly supplies, photocopies and maintain pencils crayons etc.
