***Canceled for Thursday, April 19th due to weather-Young at Heart***
St. Elizabeth’s has an active seniors group for adults 55+ called Young at Heart. The next gathering is scheduled for Thursday, April 19. Join us for 8:30am Mass followed by a potluck. Our speaker will be Mary Woods with a presentation on Genealogy. What's New in Genealogy? Taking a look at what the internet provides to researchers. This will include FamilySearch, Ancestry.com, and numerous other sites. Will also talk about DNA testing and the positives and negatives of doing it. Talk will also include area resources and writing your family memories. Please join us.
The Simple Living group will be celebrating Earth Day, April 22nd, with information after each Mass about the new "Our Common Home Prairie" project. They will have "certificates" available for purchase to help pay for seeds for the new prairie restoration project. These certificates would make great gifts for Mother's Day, graduation, or any other celebration!
Also, after each Mass this weekend, the Simple Living group will have vegetable seeds available for people to take for their own garden. Use the seeds to add produce to your dinner table, and if you are able, share some of your abundance with the Food Pantry.
Please join us on Sunday, May 6th after the 10:15 Mass for a Square Foot Gardening workshop! The workshop will demonstrate how to build a square foot garden as well as how to organize and plant for maximum harvest.
